As we know,Xiaomi Inc is a privately owned Chinese electronics company headquartered in Beijing. It is the world’s 4th largest smartphone maker. Xiaomi designs, develops, and sells smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, and related consumer electronics. Recently, Xiaomi has applied some changes to its warranty policies here in Nepal. Xiaomi will be offering 2 years warranty on software, 1 year warranty on handset and 6 month warranty on accessories (Battery/Charger). This warranty is only valid to the customers who has purchased Xiaomi smartphones from Mi Nepal authorized retail stores/showrooms/websites here in Nepal.
If you have already purchased Xiaomi smartphones few months back, you can still claim this warranty service at Mi Nepal service centers. For handsets and accessory defects under normal use circumstances and at the discretion of the company, Xiaomi shall provide free of charge repair and/or replacement services within the warranty period. The Limited Warranty starts from the day the customer receives the product and will be applicable to all existing Xiaomi customers.
