Oppo coming soon in Nepal

Oppo, a Chinese electronic manufacturer which entered into mobile manufacturing business back in 2008 and manufactured its first smartphone in 2011 is all set to enter into Nepal. Oppo has significantly taken the market in most of the countries around the globe. Currently, Oppo is officially launched in the total of 20 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Australia.

According to our sources, Oppo is planning to launch three models in Nepal. The three models are F1, F1s and Neo 7. Lets hope the authorized distributor of Oppo for Nepal will launch these devices at very competitive prices in Nepal. There is no denying, Oppo will bring more competition in Nepali market, which might eventually affect the prices of smartphones in Nepali market. However We don’t have any information when Oppo smartphones are going to launch in Nepal but we assume it’s very close.

Oppo F1 in Nepal

Oppo F1 is one of the most selling smartphones of the Oppo and comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display and a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with 294 PPI pixel density. The smartphone comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and runs on Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 chipset with Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 405 GPU. F1 comes with Android version v5.1(Lollipop).

The phone features 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be upgraded up to 256GB using microSD card slot. Oppo F1s is the successor of the most selling smartphone of Oppo, Oppo F1. The phone comes with almost the same configuration as F1 with some improvement in the display, camera, processor and chipset. The phone comes with 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display and 720 x 1280 pixel resolution with 267 PPI pixel density and comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone features Mediatek MT6750 chipset with Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Mali-T860MP2 GPU.

The Oppo F1s (2016) runs on 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD card and comes with 13MP of rear camera with phase detection, autofocus, LED flash and 16MP of a front-facing camera and comes with 3075 mAh non-removable battery. The successor F1s is mainly focused on selfie lovers.

Oppo Neo 7

Oppo Neo 7 in Nepal

Oppo Neo 7 was launched back in October 2015. The phone comes with a bit low specification which makes it bit less competitive compared to the other two variants which Oppo is going to launch. Oppo Neo 7 is mainly focused on the entry level consumers.

The Oppo Neo 7 comes with 5-inch of IPS LCD capacitive display and 540 x 960 pixels resolution with 220 PPI pixel density. The phone comes in two different variants based on the chipset, processor, and GPU. The phone comes with Mediatek MT6582 chipset for 3G model and Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset for 4G and Mali-400MP2 & Adreno 306 GPU. Along with that, the phone runs on 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD. The phone has 8MP of rear camera with autofocus & LED flash and 5MP of front facing camera and also comes with 2420 mAh non-removable battery.

Oppo is bringing their most selling budget-friendly smartphone in Nepali market, which we believe will help them to compete with other Chinese smartphone brands and other well-known brands in Nepal. So who is the authorized distributor of Oppo for Nepal? Right now in the market, there are some rumors that CG or Laxmi Group might be the authorized distributor for Oppo. But according to our sources these rumors are false. Telecell Pvt Ltd. is said to be the authorized distributor for Oppo in Nepal.
