The M2 earned a single-core score of 1919 which is around 12% faster than the M1 13-inch MacBook Pro from the previous year. Whereas the M2 chipset scores 8928 in the multicore benchmarks. That is around 20% faster than the multicore performance of the M1 model from the 7419 scores.
Furthermore, in the Metal benchmark of the M2 Chipset, it scores around 30627. That is a notable improvement over the 21001 scores earned by the M1. Moreover, the M2 Chipset offers up to 10 core GPU in comparison to the maximum of 8-core GPU in the M1 Chipset.
