Now this piece of information came from our very reliable source, who claims that Coolpad Nepal is planning to launch Coolpad Max in Nepal. Coolpad has been selling its smartphones in Nepal for quite sometimes. So far Coolpad Nepal has launched four smartphones pricing starting from Rs.16,496 to all the way up to Rs.30,996.

Coolpad Max comes with 5.5inch Full HD IPS LCD display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-core CPU, Adreno 405 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Internal storage can be expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card, but you have to use only one SIM. Coolpad Max runs on Android v5.1 lollipop with Cool UI skin on top. Moving on to the battery, it comes with 2800mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support. Other features include 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, premium metal body design, 4G LTE connectivity and fingerprint sensor.

We don’t have any information about the launch date for this device, but same sources claim that Coolpad Max will have a very aggressive price tag, making it the only smartphone on its price range that will have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. We guess it will be around 25k or below because Xiaomi is already offering Redmi Note 4 SD variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM at Rs.28499 in Nepal.
