Poco, now as an independent brand, is all set to rock the market with its second phone, Poco X2. After a huge success of Poco F1, the company is about to release Poco X2 before releasing Poco F2. From the recent leaks and rumors, the features and looks of Poxo X2 are quite like Xiaomi Redmi K30.
Things we know so far about Poco X2:
On the front, there will find 6.67 inches IPS LCD touchscreen having 1080 x 2400 pixels resolutions. The LCD screen will offer a 120Hz refresh rate that ensures smoother-looking motion. Poco X2 is believed to be one of the best phones to offer such a high refresh rate in its price segment.
The Poco X2 will be powered by Snapdragon 730G chipset, Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 470 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver). It will come with 4 varieties of storage options; one with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM, another with 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM, the next one with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and the last one with 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM. It will be running on MIUI 11 skin, on the top of Android 10 OS right out of the box.
Digging into the camera, the phone will feature a Quad-camera setup in the rear whereas the Dual-camera setup on the front. The rear camera setup consists of a primary sensor of 64 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 8 MP f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide), 2MP f/2.4 (Macro) and lastly 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device will feature a primary sensor of 20 MP, f/2.2, 27mm (wide)and a secondary sensor of 2MP, f/2.4 for depth sensing.
The phone will be equipped with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery with 27W fast-charging support. This means it can charge 0 to 100% in just 68 minutes. For unlocking the device it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner just like on Redmi K30.
The astonishing Poco X2 will be available in three color variants: Blue, Red, and Purple. It is all set to launch in India on February 4, 2020 through Flipkart. And speaking of the price, recently leaked images suggest the price will start from INR 18,999 for the base model (6GB RAM+64GB ROM). Which we will highly suggest you take it as a grain of salt.
So if the leaks and rumors are right then we are basically getting Redmi K30 smartphone with Poco X2 branding. This also means that Poco X2 is not going to be a successor device of a widely popular smartphone, Poco F1.
Now let’s talk about the availability of Poco X2 for Nepali market. As we all know that Poco is now an independent company, which means neither Vatsal Impex nor TeleDirect can sell Poco smartphones in Nepal. Since these companies are only authorized National distributors of Xiaomi smartphones for Nepal.
For now, we don’t have any information who has been appointed or going to be appointed as a National distributor for Poco smartphones in Nepal. Will Vatsal Impex and Tele Direct fight with each other for the distributorship? Or other companies will enter in the race? It will be very interesting to see who will be the official distributor of Poco in Nepal. In the meantime let us know your opinion for Poco X2 in the comment section below.
