Facebook Bringing New Changes – Including Dating | F8 2018
Facebook is bringing many new changes to Facebook this year along with dating. The Facebook CEO kicked of F8, the company’s annual conference for software developers. Revealing the changes Facebook will bring to help developers as well as normal users for the betterment of everyone. While Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook’s annual F8 conference on Tuesday reveled many things but here are some of the biggest announcements.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed Facebook follows user outside Facebook keeping track of their activity in order to provide better, reliable and accurate ads. And now Facebook is providing even more control capability to users on their data with this new tool “Clear history”. This tool works as a deleting cookie in a web browser, what it really does is it removes any information Facebook has about you from your interactions outside the main Facebook website. Facebook also provides a switch to disable Facebook from following your off-Facebook actions. Not only this but Facebook claims they are doing more showing concern for Data privacy like restricting data to apps, finding bad apps and banning them and asking people to review their privacy control.
The next big change Facebook is bringing might make many singles really happy. Yes, dating Feature is coming soon to Facebook.
As people often find their soulmate online these days Facebook is making it even easier with dating feature. This feature will be included in its mobile app that will try to help single users find their soulmates online on Facebook.
Zuckerberg said, “This is going to be for building real long-term relationships, not just hookups.”
Being concerned about privacy from the start Facebook will now allow to create a new Dating profile, which your regular friends won’t see so you can find a person outside your friend list.
Video Calling Feature
Now you may wonder why a video calling feature? Since Facebook already has it for a long time but now it is expanding it to its other platform as well. Facebook plans to roll out video chat to Instagram soon along with Group Video Chat, while WhatsApp already has the ability to do video chat, now it will soon gain the ability to do group video chats also. But that’s not all. New explore design in Instagram and augmented reality effects in Instagram and messenger, will be coming soon.
Facebook is really trying their best to bring the best out of the virtual world on the software part the whole room to ar, mapping the photos and also allowing the whole family to take part at once. In addition to the software, Facebook announced hardware for VR. Oculus virtual reality headset that does not require a connection to a phone or computers. Other feature announced includes managed groups, a business group for buying and selling and many more. Now, these features may be announced at F8 but it will take time to roll out depending on the feature and your country these features will take time to get to you.
