The Samsung S23( Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 ultra) series’s recent listing has brought a new leak. The series will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 featuring an overclocked GPU. In a recent leak a few days ago, Tipster Ice Universe has shown that Samsung will use an exclusive high-frequency version of the snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However once again, the tipster has more updates regarding the exclusive chipset. He states that the CPU as well as the GPU will be overclocked as well. Officially, Qualcomm has revealed that the official frequency for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 prime core announced is 3.1872GHz. Likewise, the CPU frequencies of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips are 3.36GHz for the prime core, 2.80GHz for the performance cores, and 2.02GHz for the efficiency cores. According to the recent leak, the Adreno 740 GPU on the Galaxy S23 devices will be clocked at 719 MHz compared to the 680 MHz unit. There hasn’t been any other reveal from Ice universe.

Now how will the chipset performance be in real life? There’s no exact determination? The snapdragon 8 Gen 2 overall has improved performance, in which the CPU is 35% faster and 40 percent more power efficient than the 8 Gen 1. Moving on, the GPU is 25% faster and 45 percent more power efficient than its predecessor.
