Since few months Gionee has been working on it’s new A-series lineup smartphone named Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus. Gionee has just sent out the invites for the device announcement event which would be held on February 27 at MWC 2017. Through our reports we have got the first live images of the smartphone. Which shows the clear rear and back view of the device.
The device features a 5.5 inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz. The device is backed by 4GB RAM and has 64GB internal storage which is further expandable upto 128GB. Furthermore, the device sports 13MP rear camera with led flash and 16MP front camera with selfie flash for great selfies in low light conditions.
At the back, beneath the rear camera fingerprint sensor is placed. The device also has an IR blaster for remote control purposes. The Gionee A1 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with AmigoOS 4.0 out of the box. The device packs a hefty 4010mAh battery with 18w fast charger and has dual sim support. The device is expected to be launched in Nepal on March 15 with the price tag of NPR Rs.35999 (~USD $335).
