Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has just received certification for a new mobile phone by the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA. The new smartphone — Gionee M2017 features a freaking amazing 7,000mAh battery. The phone was also spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark. The 7000mAh battery backup will provide the users with long-lasting battery performance.
The Gionee M2017 features a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 resolution. The phone also packs 6GBof RAM and 128GB of internal storage. TENNA also disclosed that 1.96GHz Octa-core Helio P10 chipset is powering the device but the results from An Tu Tu Benchmark show otherwise. Snapdragon 653 SoC is powering the device with an octa-core CPU as per TENNA. However, An Tu Tu shows a Snapdragon 653 SoC is powering the device.
The Phone dimension measures 155.2×77.6×10.65mm and weighs 230g. Gionee M2017 sports a dual-camera setup with 12MP + 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has an embedded fingerprint sensor on the Home Button as well. There is no external storage in the device but a 128GB onboard storage is a pretty decent one.
Given its 10.65mm thickness, it might not make the list of slim phones available in the market. However, it can be explained through the 7000mAh immense battery packed on the phone. There isn’t much information about the Phone to share for now. We are also unknown about the Phone’s availability and Pricing. The Gionee M2017 is expected to be in Black color, which is surely what many of us prefer.
