On Monday Gionee has launched the new smartphone dubbed, Gionee M6S Plus. It just an upgraded variant of M6 Plus with different processor, higher RAM and storage. The device has been launched in china and will go on sale from May 2.
Gionee M6S Plus sports 6 inch Full HD Oncell AMOLED display with (1080 x 1920) pixel resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95GHz. The device packs 6GB of RAM and comes in two storage option as 64GB and 256GB with MicroSD slot for adding more storage. Likewise, the front camera has 16MP shooter with led flash and at front we have 8MP camera for selfie purposes. The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Amigo OS 3.5 skin on top. It is backed by a massive 6020 mAh battery and has fingerprint sensor mounted beneath the rear camera.
Furthermore, Gionee M6S Plus comes with security features which are related with payment options. The device has live fingerprint scanning feature which scans for both fingerprint and heart rate to verify the user’s identity. The 64GB variant is priced at CNY 3499 (US $508) whereas, the 256GB will cost CNY 4299 (US $624) in China. The Gionee M6S Plus seems a bit highly priced and currently there is no any words on device launching in Nepal. As soon as we get any information on that we will let you know.
