Honor Smartphones Launched In Nepal – Official Price

Yes, we are talking about Honor. With Kratos Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as an official distributor for Nepal Honor has started their footsteps. These devices do have good Battery, great configuration, a dedicated slot for memory and smart fave unlock features but then again it all comes down to price. We did inform you about its launch date and price early but did it became official? You will find it out soon. For now, let’s take a closer look at the devices.

Honor 7S Overview

The first device officially launched was Honor 7s. In terms of display, with 5.45 inches 720 pixels by 1440 pixels LCD display and 18:9 aspect ratio it does look pretty good. The device frames the internals with the plastic body. The device is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6739 (28 nm) processor and comes with 2 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it packs a 16 GB of internal storage which can also be expanded up to 256GB by a dedicated microSD card. The device does support dual sim.

Honor 7S

 

Getting to the camera department, the device sports a 13MP rear shooter along with a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device also has a Led flash for low light selfies. In terms of software, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. the device includes Wifi, GPS and Bluetooth with micro USB 2.0 as connectivity. Sensors include Accelerometer and Proximity without support for a gyro. All these juiced by a 3020 mAh Li-Ion non-removable Battery

Honor 7A overview

Getting into the second device. The Honor 7A rocks with a 5.7 inch 720 pixels x 1440 pixels IPS LCD in a 19:9 aspect ratio display. In terms of design, it’s a combination of the plastic rear panel with a metallic frame. The Honor 7A is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 (28nm) processor and it comes with 2 GB of RAM. The device packs 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. It also features a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card.

Up to the consideration of the camera, the Honor 7A packs a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter + led flash for selfies. With Android 8.0 along with EMUI 8.0 on top in terms of software. The Honor 7A is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. The sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, and rear fingerprint sensor.

Honor 8X Overview

Coming to the third one, Honor 8X. The device comes with a 6.5-inch small notched IPS LCD display 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone features a screen-to-body ratio of more than 91 percent with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It has a Kirin 710 processor under its hood, coupled with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU for graphics processing. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM and it has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB also with an expandable dedicated microSD card slot. Or you can also go with a 128GB inbuilt storage variant.

Honor 8X

At the front of the phone is a dual 20MP + 2MP rear cameras, while in the front is a 16MP selfie camera. Android 8.1 Oreo comes preloaded in the device with EMUI 8.2 on top. The device is equipped with GPU Turbo technology for accelerated graphics performance. It packs a 3750mAh battery charged through micro USB 2.0. It does have a fingerprint sensor on the backside of the phone.

Honor PLAY Overview

Finally the last one, Honor Play. The smartphone comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display having a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a notch on top. The device also rocks an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a metal back design. Under the hood, the device is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset with Mali-G72 MP12 graphics. The phone offers a 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage configurations.  This is the first Honor device to feature the GPU Turbo technology.

Honor Play

The rear dual-camera setup features a 16MP f/2.2 primary sensor paired with a 2MP f/2.4 secondary depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP f/2.0 sensor for selfies. The phone is running on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone gets power from a 3,750mAh battery and includes a Fingerprint sensor on the rear. Along with these other included sensors are Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyro, GPS. It also includes a Type-C connector.

Honor Price in Nepal

Getting into price, Honor 7S with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM price in Nepal is Rs 15,490/-. Similarly, Honor 7A cost is Rs 18,490/-.  Honor 8X costs Rs 32,490/- for 4GB/64GB variant while the 4GB/128GB ROM variant  costs Rs 36,490/-. Last but not the least the Honor Play with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM price in Nepal is Rs 42,490/-. These smartphones will be available in Different offline retail stores. Talking about pricing it is as we informed you on the previous post. Basically it kills the hype but still does not fall far from what has been going on the market.
