HTC, A company that launched first Android smartphone in the world is kind of in an extinction face. Well the reason is simple, their devices are not selling well in the market around the world. But things might change after today’s launched of the new HTC flagship smartphone for 2017. And we are talking about HTC U11, which comes with latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and a 12MP UltraPixel 3 camera. And according to the DxOMark, the HTC U11 camera was able to score 90 points, which makes it to the top the list of the best camera on a smartphone.
HTC U11 also comes with a unique feature named as Edge Sense. This feature lets you to execute specific actions by squeezing the phone. Like for example, you can take photos by squeezing your phone. Not sure how useful this feature is going to be but this is something worth to note.
Taking about its camera, main shooter features 12MP UltraPixel 3 sensor with large 1.4 micron pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, dual LED flash, 4K video recording and slo-mo 1080p at 120fps whereas Selfie shooter comes with 16MP and can record Full HD video.
Other features includes 5.5inch QHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, Android 7.1 Nougat, 3000mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0 and IP67 rating.
HTC U11 comes with Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red color options and will be available from May 2017 onwards at €749/£649 (~USD $838). However for US market, HTC U11 is priced just $649 and will go on sale from June 9.
Regarding availability of HTC U11, we have nothing share as of now. Though we do have authorized distributor for HTC smartphones in Nepal but they are just launching entry level and mid-range HTC devices. So chances are very little for HTC U11 to get launched in Nepal.
