Huawei Nepal held a launch event today in Hotel Annapurna at Durbar Marg. If you are following us on Facebook, you might have got a chance to see the launch event live. At the launch event, Huawei launched its two devices Huawei Nova 2i and Huawei Y7. Huawei Nova 2i is first of its kind in Nepal to sport a quad camera setup (dual camera setup on the front and the rear). Whereas, the Huawei Y7 is an entry level device launched by Huawei in today’s launch event.

Huawei Nova 2i
Following the recent trend for all screen front, Nova 2i has the almost bezel-less display. Talking about its quad camera setup, its rear camera features a 16.0+2.0MP Dual camera and front shooter of 13.0+2.0 MP setup. This configuration of the camera allows you take bokeh effect shots from both front and back. The device features a 5.9 inch Full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2160 Pixels. With a thin bezel and an aspect ratio of 18:9, the device gives you an impressive 83% screen to body ratio and widescreen viewing experience.

Under the hood of the device is a 4GB RAM with a memory space of 64GB ROM, which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card. Hopped up with Kirin 659 Octa-core CPU and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, the device should offer a smooth experience. The device runs on Android 7.0 with Huawei EMUI 5.1 custom skin and is backed up by a 3340mAh non-removable battery.

Huawei Nova 2i is available at the price of Rs.33,900. The device is available for purchase all over Nepal from Friday-November 17. The device will be available in three color options-White, Black, and Gold.
Huawei Y7
Huawei also announced it’s another new device Huawei Y7 at the same launch event. It has a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage space. The device packs a 12MP camera with f/2.2 aperture on the rear side whereas the front camera is a 8MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The sensors on the device include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyro, and Ambient light sensor.
Huawei Y7 is a budget range phone from Huawei and priced at Rs.15,900.
Both devices will be available from November 17 through Huawei retail partner outlets all over Nepal.
