Just days after Huawei revealed the Huawei 9 and Huawei Mate 9 Porsche design, Huawei Mate 9 Pro goes official. At a launch event in China, Huawei revealed the Mate 9 Pro model. Huawei Mate 9 Pro images were previously leaked by a Weibo User @DigitalCrazy. It is similar to the limited Porsche Edition only except the huge Price and Porsche design.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro will sport a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with 2560 x 1440 Pixels resolution. Mate 9 Pro will feature a curved screen as previously leaked on Weibo. Two version of the Mate 9 Pro will be available with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. The 4 GB variant will have 64GB of onboard storage while the 6 GB variant will have a 128GB of internal storage. There was a rumor about 256 GB storage version but Huawei has spoke nothing about it. The Mate 9 Pro will also sport 20 MP + 12 MP dual rear Camera and a 8 MP selfie Camera.
The phone is powered by Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor in addition to Mali-G71 MP8 GPU which will give you a great gaming performance. Just like the Porsche Model, there is a finger print sensor on the front. Mate 9 Pro will backed up by a 4,000mAh battery. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and also comes with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0 User Interface. It is also not revealed whether the Mate 9 Pro will have a hybrid dual SIM slot.
Talking about the price, Huawei Mate 9 Pro will cost a little above the Standard version but more affordable than the Porsche Design Mate 9. The Porsche Design was for 8,999 Yuan ($1,316) in China. The 4 GB and 6 GB version will cost 4,699 Yuan ($687) and 5,299 Yuan ($775) respectively in China. Huawei Mate 9 Pro may or may not be available outside China because there is no information regarding its launch outside the Country.
