After an incredible global fanfare, the much awaited Huwaei P30 series has finally launched in Nepal. The P30 series introduces Huawei P30 Pro, Huawei P30, and P30 Lite which will be focusing on different market segments which is always a bonus point for us consumers.
The P series from Huawei always focused on the camera and it seems that Huawei has outdone itself this time as well. The P30 series features the SuperSpectrum Sensor, an optical SuperZoom Lens, a new HUAWEI Time of Flight (ToF) Camera, and enhanced optical and AI image stabilization technology. With these revolutionary technologies, the HUAWEI P30, HUAWEI P30 Pro and P30 Lite capture incredible photos and videos in every scenario.
According to the company, the 1/1.7-inch HUAWEI SuperSpectrum Sensor features the RYYB Sensor which deviates from the traditional RGGB Bayer filter by replacing green pixels with yellow pixels, yielding a high maximum ISO rating of 409,600 on the HUAWEI P30 Pro and 204,800 on the HUAWEI P30. The sensor technology, combined with AIS, OIS and the P30 Pro’s f/1.6 wide aperture, delivers extraordinary photography and videography experiences across a wide range of scenarios and lighting conditions—including extremely low light—producing images with enhanced detail, colour and clarity.
On the other hand, the new SuperZoom Lens unlocks a superior level of zoom photography. Through a new periscope design, theSuperZoom Lens supports high fidelity magnification of 5 times optical zoom, 10 times hybrid zoom in P 30 pro and 3 times optical zoom, 5 times hybrid zoom in P 30. A prism element in the telephoto camera bends light at a 90-degree angle to maximum focal length while minimizing camera height, without disrupting device design.
All these features show that the devices will be fantastic performers in the camera department. Now, let’s take a look at the specs of devices to check out whether they perform in other segments.
Huawei P30 Pro Specs:
Display: 6.47″ OLED HDR 10 display(~88.6% screen-to-body ratio), Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio
The company has also tied up with Nabil Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, Mega Bank, Kumari Bank Siddhartha Bank, Global IME Bank, Century Bank, NIC Asia, NMB Bank, and Nepal Investment Bank to provide 0% EMI for the purchase of Huawei P30 Series.
