Huawei quietly launches Huawei y6 2017 on their official France website. Huawei Y6 2017 comes with 5inch display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6737T Quad-core 1.4GHz CPU and Mali-T720 GPU, backed up by 2GB RAM. This configuration should be enough to run basic apps and games smoothly. It also comes with 16GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

On the software side, Huawei Y6 2017 is running on Android v6.0 Marshmallow with EMIU 4.1 skin on top. Moving on to the camera, it has a 13MP camera on the back with dual LED flash, whereas on the front it comes with 5MP camera with single LED flash for night selfies. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G, 4G LTE and dual-SIM support. It is also equipped with the sensor like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Compass and Ambient light sensor, but unfortunately we are not getting Gyro sensor here. 3000mAh non removable battery with Energy saving technology will help you to get a day and a half battery life on a normal usage.
There is also a customizable button on the left hand side of Huawei Y6 2017. You can press once, twice or hold to launch your favorite apps quickly. You can set the button to launch the camera app, social networking apps or flashlight as per your need. That’s a very handy feature to have on an entry level smartphone from Huawei.
We don’t have any information regarding the pricing of Huawei Y6 2017 yet. But looking at the specs, it should be affordable. If it launches in Nepal under 15K, it can be a big hit.
