iQOO Z1 announced with 144Hz display and Dimensity 1000+ SoC
iQOO, a sub-brand of vivo basically focused on gaming smartphones, has announced the highly awaited flagship ‘iQOO Z1’. Looking at the specs, it is quite clear that the iQOO Z1 is the upgraded version of iQOO Neo3 5G with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC. We had given you the trivial information about the iQOO Z1 in our previous articles. Here we are going to explore further about it.
iQOO Z1 Specs Overview:
As mentioned earlier, iQOO Z1 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, Octa-core (4×2.6 GHz Cortex-A77 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and features a Mali-G77 MP9 GPU. According to the company, iQOO Z1 manages to score 536683 on Antutu Benchmark, which is right around other flagship devices.
The phone will be launched in three models having 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB as storage options. We are getting LPPDDR4X RAM and USF 3.1 storage on iQOO Z1. None of them have card slots in them to expand the storage capacity which is quite upsetting.
Speaking of the camera, the device includes a triple-camera setup consisting of a primary sensor of 48 MP, f/1.8,(wide)with PDAF, a secondary sensor of 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide), and a macro sensor of 2 MP, f/2.4. The device is capable of capturing the video of [email protected] from the main camera and [email protected] from the main as well as the selfie camera. Likewise, the selfie camera will be capturing 16MP pictures.
The iQOO Z1 flaunts a 6.57 inches IPS LCD display with 1080×2408 pixel resolutions and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen provides us a refresh rate of 144Hz which is quite amazing for the gaming smartphone.
The iQOO Z1 boots Android 10 on the top of iQOO UI. The phone is equipped with 4500 mAh Li-Po with 44W SuperFlash charging and USB-C port. The SuperFlashing charging is said to charge the phone 50% in just 23 minutes and a full 100% in another 36 minutes which is insane if true. Along with this, the phone also supports 5G connectivity, both SA/NSA dual-mode 5G and dual SIM (5G+5G).
To take care of the excessive heating of the phone while gaming, it comes with Multi-Turbo 3.5 that boosts performance as well as dissipates heat via liquid cooling. The company declares that Multi-Turbo 3.5 is able to minimize the phone’s temperature by 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.
We will get to see two color options- Galaxy Silver and Space Blue in the iQOO Z1. And for all the anime lovers out there, the company has declared a special edition of Z1 that will be called ‘One Piece’ as it features One Piece logo and skull on its back.
