Leaked Images Shows Huawei Mate 9 Pro With Dual Curved Display
Huawei, one of the Top smartphone manufacturers in the world recently announced their new flagship Mate 9 along with its Porsche Design Edition in Munich. There were reports of another phone called the ‘Mate 9 Pro’ exclusive to the Chinese market. Now new images of the Mate 9 Pro have surfaced on Weibo which shows the phone to have a dual curved display.
The images were posted on Weibo by @DigitalCrazy and shows the physical layout of the phone. Apparently it has a smaller screen compared to its sibling Mate 9 which featured a huge 5.9’’ display.
The 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the bottom and fingerprint sensor is at the front. At the back the LED flash is located above the Leica branded Dual camera.
The Mate 9 pro shows a lot of similarities with the limited Porsche edition. However unlike the Porsche edition which will be available only in black, the image shows Huawei Mate 9 Pro to have a champagne gold coating.
The Huawei Mate 9 pro will have three variants:
4GB RAM+64GB ROM ($674)
6GB RAM+128GB ROM ($777)
6GB RAM+256GB ROM ($835)
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is priced relatively cheap compared to the Porsche edition which was designed in collaboration the German automobile manufacturers. Both these devices will come with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB ROM but the Porsche edition costs a whopping $1449(To put things in perspective, the Apple iphone 7 considered an ‘expensive device’ costs up to $849).
The Mate 9 Pro will be powered by the latest Hisilicon Kirin 960 processor and is expected to boost the phone’s performance. Combined with the Leica branded dual camera setup makes it a very desirable phone.
