LG has just revealed its latest lineup of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors for CES 2024, and one of the standout models is the 32GS95UE. This 32-inch monitor comes with a cool feature called Dual-Hz. What’s cool about it? Well, you can switch between two modes. One mode lets you enjoy the native 4K resolution at a maximum of 240Hz refresh rate, and the other mode drops the resolution to FullHD (1080p) but cranks up the refresh rate to a whopping 480Hz.

LG announces Dual Hz OLED Monitors:

Switching between these modes is easy you can use a hotkey or the joystick on the monitor. When you switch, your system sees the display as either 4K at 240Hz or 1080p at 480Hz, and everything scales accordingly. Just a heads up, though, the 480Hz at 4K isn’t something you can access right now with current display standards.

The 32GS95UE packs some other cool features too. It covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space, has super-fast 0.03ms response times, supports DisplayHDR True Black 400, and comes with dual HDMI 2.1 ports. There’s a catch with the DisplayPort – it’s version 1.4, not the newer 2.1, so you’ll need Display Stream Compression (DSC) for the full resolution and refresh rates.

But wait, there’s more! The 32GS95UE has built-in speakers with Pixel Sound technology. These dual woofers are placed behind the OLED panel, using the front surface to make the sound travel. Plus, there’s support for DTS Virtual:X through the speakers and a built-in headphone jack.

LG didn’t stop there; they announced five other OLED monitors. There’s the 34GS95QE and 39GS95QE with curved 3440×1440 panels, 240Hz refresh rate, and 800R curvature. Then, we have the 45GS95QE and 45GS96QB – both are 45-inch 3440×1440 240Hz curved OLED monitors, with the latter having built-in speakers and USB-C 65W charging. Lastly, the 27GS95QE is a 27-inch 2560×1440 240Hz flat panel with features similar to the others in the lineup.

In a nutshell, LG’s new monitors bring some seriously cool tech to the gaming world with impressive refresh rates, resolution options, and additional features for a top-notch gaming experience. To find out more click here.
