Meizu Pro 6 Plus and Meizu M3X unveiled in China with flyme OS 6.0

Today Meizu has unveiled a flagship and an upscale Mid ranger named Meizu Pro 6 Plus and Meizu M3X running flyme OS 6.0 in China.

Offering the Flat super AMOLED display in Meizu Pro 6 plus reminds us about the Samsung that never gave us. The screen is QHD resolution (1440 x 2560px) which aims 430 nits of brightness and comes with always-on display functionality besides that it has a pressure-sensitive feature which Meizu calls as 3D press.

The Meizu Pro 6 Plus packs 12MP rear camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor which is optically stabilized and has an f/2.0 aperture in addition to an LED ring flash with ten LEDs and dual-tone too. The selfie camera features a 5MP sensor and has an f/2.0 lens. Meizu has implemented its new mTouch fingerprint reader therefore, it unlocks in just 0.15s and furthermore it has an inbuilt heart rate Monitor. The Meizu Pro 6 plus has a dedicated audio chip by ESS (ES9018K2M) due to which the sound quality is amazing.


Meizu Pro 6 Plus packs the same Exynos 8890 processors used in Samsung s7 and s7 edge. Where the clock speeds for the processor (2 GHz and 2.3 GHz) representing 64GB and 128GB variant respectively. The pro 6 plus comes with a fully crafted metal body.

Whereas, phone measures 7.3mm thick and weighs 158g and packs 3400mAh battery which is quite impressive. It has implemented the USB Type-C port v3.1 speed with fast charging to the tune of 24W. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus will be available in champagne gold, deep ash, and moonlight silver. The 64GB version will cost around US$435(excl.of Tax) and US$450(excl.of Tax) for the 128GB variant.

Compared to Meizu Pro 6 plus the Meizu M3X is smaller and comes with 5.5″ 1080p screen which is much brighter than Pro 6 plus giving 500 nits of brightness and contains the same camera sensor as Pro 6 plus for it’s 12MP rear camera. It is powered by Mediatek Helio P20 chipset.

Which also has two variants one with 3GB ram for 32GB of storage option and 4GB RAM for 64GB of storage option. This phone runs on Flyme os 6.0 and packs 3200mAh battery with fast mCharge (quick charging 3.0, 18W) Which also has the fingerprint reader but doesn’t have the heart rate monitor and has USB Type-C port.


The Meizu M3X will be available in Phone blue, streamer gold, pearl white and obsidian black. The 3GB/32GB model will cost around US$245(excl.of Tax) and the 4GB/64GB model will cost around US$290(excl.of Tax). This phone is also known as the Blue Charm X.
