Recently both Xiaomi and OnePlus have launched their flagships in the Nepali market. Xiaomi launched the MI Mix 2 at Rs.63,999 whereas One Plus 5T is available for Rs.64,900. These two smartphones are both regarded as flagship killers but the question is, which one of the two is more suited to your taste. Let’s see that in this comparison.
Features and Design
MI Mix 2
The most highlighted feature of the MI Mix 2 is its full-screen 5.99-inch display. This display gives the device a modern and an elegant look. The smartphone features a ceramic back with metal frame, which provides the device a premium feel.
One Plus 5T
The One Plus 5T is also not behind with a 6.01-inch immersive display with small bezels on the top and bottom. The unique feature available in this device is the Face Unlock feature which works almost flawlessly. The fingerprint scanner is located on the rear with the OnePlus logo below it for a stylish look. Another highlight of this device is the Dash-charge feature which gives a day of charge in 30 minutes without heating the device.
MI Mix 2
The device features a 12MP f/2.0 rear camera with 4 axis OIS and 1.25-micron pixels. The Optical image stabilization is important for reducing camera shake while recording videos or capturing photos, while the large pixel size makes sure that the low light shots come out great. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie shooter for the selfie lovers.
One Plus 5T
The device features dual 20MP + 16MP camera with a large f/1.7 aperture on the rear for excellent low light photography. The device can also take portrait shots from the rear cameras thanks to the dual cameras. On the front, the device features a 16MP camera, which is more than enough to take good selfies.

In our opinions both the devices holds up on their own front. While the OnePlus 5T sure packs a lot of features like Dash-charge, Face-Unlock and a better camera (both front and back), the MI Mix 2 still looks more elegant of the two devices and comes with FREE 1 year insurance (Screen breakage + Theft protection).
