Nokia 6 To Go On Sale In China From January 19

Nokia, the company that reckoned the new age of portable mobile phones and became the best selling brand in 1998 is back again. In 2011 Nokia sales collapsed due to the competition with Android and iPhone. Microsoft sold phones under Nokia’s Lumia brand for some time but Microsoft’s ownership of Nokia brand license has expired. Recently, HMD Global has secured its right over the brand for the next decade.

Now that Nokia is leaping towards Android industry, it is soon to put its first Android phone on sale next week. The first Nokia Android phone — Nokia 6 was revealed earlier this week by HMD Global.

However, Nokia 6 will only be available in China for the time being. JD.com, the retail partner for Nokia 6 in China has already started registrations for the handset. The first sale will go live on January 19. Nokia 6 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (NPR 26,866) for the Black color. Online rumor so appeared so far seems to suggest at least two devices.
