The nothing brand is preparing its second earbud the Nothing Ear (2) successor to the Nothing Ear (1). The launch is scheduled to happen on March 22 and recently the earbuds have been leaked with promo materials and specs revealed. Let’s get into it.
Nothing Ear(2) promo leaks
The leak has been outsourced through tech outlook collaborated with on leaks, showcasing the renders of the upcoming earbuds. The rendered images shown here reveal the same semi-transparent design which comes set in a transparent box. As for design, there aren’t many major changes to the upcoming earbuds.
As per previous leaks, the noise-canceling microphone has been moved to the top of the stem, and new internal components. The Nothing Ear (2) initials are also visible on the earbud stem.
These earbuds weigh 4.5 grams each, which makes them lighter than the previous earbuds by 0.2 grams. The earbuds will also come with an IP54 water resistance.
Other specs include the Ear (2) will have the 11.6mm speakers like its predecessor. Besides the earbuds offers a playtime of 6 hours. But with the charging case, the battery will supposedly last up to 36 hours of battery life. Meanwhile, it will also support fast charging and Qi wireless charging.
Moving onto other specs, the Ear (2) will feature Hybrid ANC for effective background noise reduction. It might also offer Personalised Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) which let users adjust the ANC strength to their preference. Previous statements report that the Nothing earbuds will allow for connecting two devices at the same time.
And the Advanced EQ feature will enable users to customize their sound preferences as well.
