Chinese smartphone manufacturing company, OnePlus launched this device back in July of 2015. The company has been known for providing high end specs for reasonably low prices. OnePlus 2 is the predecessor to the OnePlus 3 which is considered one of the most popular phones of 2016. Both devices have been dubbed ‘flagship killers’ for its use of high end hardware for its mid-range pricing.
It has been quite a while since the company released OnePlus 2. But it still holds up today boasting some impressive specs.

Although it is almost a two year old phone, it still packs with some great hardware specs. And when you see what are we getting on the other smartphones under 35k budget here in Nepal, Oneplus 2 seems a great deal right now. Oneplus 2 display comes with Full HD resolution making 401ppi pixel density. Snapdragon 810, Qualcomm’s slightly older flagship processor is powering this device. It features an octa-core CPU paired with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is more than enough for normal use. However, it does not have an SD card slot but has support for OTG with the USB Type-C port. 3300mAh non-removable battery should last atleast a day on a moderate usage.
Rear camera is 13 MP made by “OmniVision” with f/2.0 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization capable of recording 4K video. While the front camera is 5MP.
The OnePlus 2 includes dual sim support (both GSM). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, bluetooth 4.2 and 4G LTE. The sensors available are Fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. It comes with Android Lollipop with Oxygen UI on top but is upgradable to marshmallow.
It is available in a single color: Sandstone Black. You can buy this phone from Olizstore at a price of Rs.34,900.
