OnePlus Unveiled OnePlus 5 With Dual Rear Camera, SD 835 & More
Today OnePlus has officially unveiled it’s latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 5. The main attraction of the device is it’s dual camera and the design that is posses. OnePlus 5 has a very good looking design and hard edge which OnePlus called as horizon line.
The device measures just 7.25mm thick and has a button called “Alert Slider” at the left side of the device, which allows you to control your device notifications alert. OnePlus 5 sports a 5.5″ inch 1080P optic amoled display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is clocked at 2.45GHz and has Adreno 540 GPU. It is backed by 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Whereas, the device has internal storage of 64GB / 128GB, which is based on 2.1 dual lane storage technology for faster read and write speed (No MicroSD slots).
The main feature of the device is it’s dual rear camera. The rear camera is the combination of two camera lenses, one being Sony IMX350 20MP f/2.6 telephoto lens and another is Sony IMX398 16MP camera sensor which has aperture of f/1.7. The front camera is Sony IMX371 16MP shooter, which will also provide great selfies and video chat/live experiences. Furthermore, OnePlus has included smart capture feature for it’s camera to snatch great photos. The smart capture camera software has so many features such as De-Noise, dual camera zoom, improved HDR algorithm, portrait mode, pro mode, etc. OnePlus 5 packs 3300mAh non-removable battery, which will be charged using dash-charge technology. OnePlus claims as it would charge your device up to 60% within 30 minutes.
OnePlus 5 runs on Android Nougat with Oxygen OS skin on top. The device still has 3.5mm headphone jack which is great. In US Oneplus 5 will cost US$ 479 (~NPR 49,390) for 6+64GB variant whereas 8+128GB variant will cost USD $539 (~NPR 55,577) and will be available in two color options i.e Mid night black and Slate grey.
Regarding availability of OnePlus 5 in Nepal, it will launch by the mid or end of July. Whereas pricing goes, we assume 6+64GB variant will cost around 58-60k and 8+128GB variant will cost around 63-65k in Nepal.
