OnePlus, previously famous for its astounding flagship smartphones, initiated a new lineup of its smartphones- the entry-level Nord Series. The OnePlus Nord made quite an impression in the market with its features. Also, a few months back OnePlus launched Nord CE. Everyone assumed the Nord CE to be the successor to OnePlus Nord. However, it is not the case.
OnePlus is working on a new OnePlus Nord 2 to add to the Nord lineup, which is also the immediate successor to OnePlus Nord. OnePlus is making arrangements for the official unveiling of the Nord 2. Nevertheless, some of its specs and features were leaked early. Delving at the leaked features, you might feel a huge similarity of the upcoming Nord 2 to the OnePlus 9 series.
So, let’s look at the leaked features to confirm the rumors.
OnePlus Nord 2 Leaked Features
Previously, the design of Nord 2 was leaked. The device has a brushed metal finish in a grey color variant. The Nord 2 features a triple camera setup at the rear panel and a single selfie shooter at the front. The arrangement of a triple camera setup will remind you of the OnePlus 9 series.
Similarly, the upcoming Nord 2 features a single shooter selfie camera at the front, whereas its predecessor, OnePlus Nord, had a dual selfie camera. The punch-hole cutout houses the front camera in the top left corner of the device, similar to the OnePlus 9.
At the bottom, the device features a Type-C USB port and speaker grille, whereas the top of the phone seems clear.
OnePlus Nord 2 Expectations
Nord 2 is likely to be powered with a MediaTek chipset with a RAM of at least 8GB.
Furthermore, the device is likely to come with a triple camera with a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary camera, and 2MP camera (depth sensor probably). Also, we can expect the smartphone to have a 32MP selfie shooter. There’s a high possibility for the device to be packed with 4, 500 mAh battery.
Also, as there is no trace fingerprint sensor at the side or the rear, we can expect an in-display fingerprint scanner.
All the rumors and expectations will come to rest after OnePlus officially unveils the device a few weeks later. Also, the device is likely to hit the market before the end of September.
