OPPO sold around 22 million units this quarter in its home market. The top spot was previously held by Huawei, which has slipped into the third position managing to sell only 19 million units in Q3 2016. The rise for OPPO in the smartphone industry is largely credited to its F1 series ( F1, F1 plus, F1s) which has had great sales worldwide.

Brands like Samsung and Apple are doing poorly in the Chinese market compared to the local brands. However, they are still dominating the global market with Samsung having sold 72.5 million units worldwide followed by Apple with 45.5 million units this quarter. But OPPO is not far behind claiming the fourth spot in sales worldwide.

Chinese brands like Huawei, OPPO, Xiaomi, OnePlus have lately seen huge numbers in sales. This might be mainly due to the fact that they are offering high specs at low prices.
Tele Cell Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Oppo for Nepal has already launched 3 devices in Nepali market: OPPO F1s, OPPO A37 and OPPO Neo 7. So far, Oppo is doing great in Nepal too when it comes to sells number. Oppo Nepal is also going aggressively on marketing, which is helping them to create a buzz in the market.
