Realme 6 And Realme 6 Pro Announced With 90Hz Display and 30W Fast Charging
Realme has officially unveiled Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro in India today and they bring significant upgrades over their predecessors despite coming in this short time (5 months).
Realme 6 is the first-ever Realme smartphone that contains the Mediatek’s gaming-oriented G90T chipset. It is a 12nm octa-core CPU with two 2.05GHz Cortex A76 big cores and six 2GHz Cortex-A55power-efficient cores, also the Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and is coupled with either 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM.
The Realme 6 hordes a 6.5″ LCD, which is just as big as on the previous phone Realme, 5 comes with an upgraded FullHD+ resolution and it now comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. It encompasses Gorilla Glass 3 on top and a punch hole for 16MP F/2.0 selfie camera with a relatively larger 1/3.1″ sensor.
There is four-camera on the back – 64MP main one with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, 8MP f/2.3 ultrawide unit, 2MP dedicated macro shooter, and a 2MP B&W auxiliary unit for enhancing the portrait shots,!WOW!
Realme 6 has also faster UFS2.1, storage version with 64GB, or 128GB options. Both the phones get a dedicated microSD slot alongside the dual SIM Slots. Along with a 4,300 mAh battery that could be charged in one hour with the 30W charger in the box, it offers three versions on offer.
You can also pre-order the phone now with an INR 3,000 deposit while the actual sales will take place on March 11 at noon Indian time at Flipkart and Realme.com.
Realme 6 Pro
With the newest 720G Snapdragon built on an 8nm process, it has a 2.3GHz octa-core Kryo 465 CPU, an Adreno 618 GPU, and either 6GB or 8GB RAM.
The Realme 6 Pro rocks a 6.6″ IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution, which is quite impressive. It also has a pill-shaped punch hole that hosts two selfie cameras of 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 module and an 8MP ultrawide snapper with a 105-degree field of view.
It also consists of a main 64MP camera that is accompanied by a 12MP f/2.5 telephoto shooter, an 8MP ultrawide angle snapper, and a 2MP macro lens while it also supports UIS and UIS Max Video Stabilization.
The battery of the Realme 6 Pro is the same as its vanilla variant – 4,300mAh cell with support for 30W fast charging. Both phones also have Realme UI with Android 10 serving as a base, and the Pro supports NavIC – which is India’s satellite navigation system.
