Realme 6i Announced With Helio G80 Chipset And 5000mAh battery
Since the smartphones are coming in with aggressive price range and competitive speculations, there is a very forth-running competition going on between the mid-range smartphones. After the launch of the Realme 5i in January, the company has announced its yet another successor – the Realme 6i in after just two months.
Realme 6i Specs Overview:
Realme 6i comes with a 6.5″ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. It also features a 16MP selfie camera in the front which is considered a big upgrade over the Realme 5i’s 8MP front-facing shooter.
Running on Android 10 OS with Realme UI skin on top, the Realme 6i is the world’s first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC and offers two memory versions – 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB. Helio G80 is an Octa-core CPU(2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
On the back though, Realme 6i, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, rocks a quad-camera arrangement comprising a 48MP main (upgraded from 5i’s 12MP), 8MP ultrawide, 2MP portrait and 2MP macro cameras. With a plastic back and a plastic frame, it comes with a fingerprint reader on the rear for biometric authentication and is convenient security as well. It is also splash resistance, which might be a good add up in terms of features.
The authentic Realme 6i unboxes a 5,000mAh battery with reverse wired charging support – same as the 5i. But, the upgrade here is that it can draw power at up to 18W through a USB-C port.
Realme 6i Price:
The Realme 6i offers a colour variant of White Milk and Green Tea colours. The base variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at KS249,900 (~NPR 21,108), while the 4GB RAM model with 128GB storage costs KS299,900 (~NPR 25,331).
The Realme 6i is set up for pre-order in Myanmar from March 18 to March 26, with sales commencing from March 29. If the speculation is right then it might be an amazing front-runner in terms of a mid-range phone.
