Realme GT Neo 2 Rumored and Leaked Renders
Realme has confirmed that it is working on the second device under its GT lineup- GT Neo2. Â Realme China has confirmed that it is working on the successor of the GT Neo through a Weibo post. However, the tech giant has not confirmed or announced any of the specs and features of the phone.
Luckily, a glimpse of the upcoming GT Neo 2 has been leaked allowing us to make some speculations about the device. The leak is based on a pre-production unit; so, Realme can undoubtedly make some changes to the device prior to its production.

Realme GT Neo 2: Overview (rumored)
Design and Display
As for the design, the device is very likely to have looks that are similar to its predecessor. We can expect the device to have a punch-hole cutout at the top left of the device to house the selfie camera. And, a triple-camera setup, similar to its predecessor. The leaked renders of the device do not show any sign of a headphone jack; nevertheless, Realme may bring some changes in its design as the renders are pre-production leaks.
Moving to the display, the device is rumored to have a Super AMOLED display of 6.62 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device will retain the 120Hz refresh rate allowing the users a smooth experience like its predecessor. Moreover, we can expect an under the display fingerprint sensor in the upcoming device.Â
Camera
Observing its leaked renders, we can see no changes in the camera setup. So, we can expect the device to feature the same 64MP triple camera setup along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor.Â
Moreover, the device is likely to sport a 16MP selfie camera housed inside a punch-hole cutout at the top left of the display.
Performance and battery
Under the hood, Realme GT Neo 2 is likely to run on Android 11 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC, unlike its predecessor. Also, we can expect it to sport Adreno 650 to handle its GPU. The Neo 2 is likely to be introduced in two different variants of 8GB and 12GB RAM.Â
As for the battery, the device will have an upgrade in the device compared to its predecessor. GT Neo featured a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. The GT Neo 2, on the other hand, will feature a 5,000mAh battery cell. The device will also come with fast charging support.
Price and Availability
It is still too early to set an expectation regarding the price. So, there is no speculation about the price. As for the launch, we can expect the device to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2021.
