So today we have good news folks. Xiaomi Nepal has started sharing the teaser post of Redmi K20 series on their official Facebook page. So we might see both Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro very soon in Nepal. Let us briefly look into the features it brings.
Overview of K20 Pro
The smartphone is packed with strong 6.39-inch AMOLED full screen display of resolution 2340 x 1080 FHD+ protected both sides by Corning fifth generation gorilla glass. It is integrated with superior in-display fingerprint sensor and smart notification light on top of the smartphone.
The main highlight is the Motorized Pop-up 20Mp selfie camera with AI face unlock feature along with 6 sound effects. It has primary triple camera setup 48 +13 + 8 MP lens featuring 2x optical and 10x hybrid zoom and is capable of capturing 60fps and 30fps 4k video recording and 1080 px slow-mo recordings.
This alpha flagship is powerfully built with its first Snapdragon 855 processor, Adreno 640 GPU with ‘Game Turbo 2.0’ technology and run on Android 9.0. It is equipped with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM/ 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM as its onboard storage variants. It is fueled with Non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
Overview of K20
Both K20 and K20 pro share same display and design as they have similar looks.
Regarding the camera, It comes with same automated 20MP pop-up front camera and 48 +13 + 8 MP triple camera setup on its back, just like its big brother “Redmi K20 Pro”.
The notable differences lie in the processor in which K20 comes with the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset with Adreno 618 GPU. For the memory, it comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM.
Redmi K20 is backed-up by same 4000mAh battery but it only supports 18watt fast charging.
In the Indian market, the price is tagged for K20 models of 6GB/64GB at INR 21,999 (~NRP 35,198) and 6GB/128GB at INR 23,999 (~NRP 38,398). Whereas K20 pro of 6GB/128GB model costs INR 27,999 (~NRP 44,798) and 8GB/256GB model costs INR 30,999 (~NRP 49,598). If we look at the price difference of recently launched Redmi Note 7 Pro between India and Nepal, there are about 10-12% differences. So, We guess Xiaomi Nepal will maintain the similar price gap on these model too. Both847 Redmi K20 and K20 pro come in 3 different colours – Carbon Black, Flame Red, and Glacier Blue.
