Xiaomi recently had an online event where it announced the launch date of Redmi Note 9S around the globe. If you are confused, let us make you clear that Redmi Note 9S is nothing but the global counterpart of Redmi Note 9 Pro which was launched on the 12th of March in India. Redmi Note 9s Specs Overview:
Upfront, the device flaunts a 6.67 inches FHD+ resolutions LCD Display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolutions. The company claims that the maximum brightness can reach up to 450 nits as well as the phone supports HDR10 and assembles TÜV Rheinland’s standards for low blue light emissions.
The device comprises of a quad-camera setup in the rear; 48MP(Main), 8MP(Ultrawide), 5MP(Macro), and 2MP(depth). Similarly, Redmi Note 9S is the first phone in the series to have a 16MP selfie camera with a punch hole, or Tiny DotDisplay as Xiaomi likes to call it.
The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM or 6GB RAM+128GB ROM options. Equipped with a huge non-removable Li-Po 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging, the Redmi Note 9S will run on Android v10.0 with MIUI skin on top.
People can choose between the color variants of Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black. Xiaomi has decided to launch it on April 7 but the online booking starts earlier. In addition to this Xiaomi announced an MFF 2020 Limited Edition of the Redmi Note 9S where 2020 units having the MFF logo on the back will be available on Mi Fan Festival.
Pricing and Availability
Redmi Note 9S is currently announced for Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand market. It will be available for purchase from April 7 to the respected market.

Redmi Note 9s is also available to pre-order on Gearbest at $210 (~NPR 25,400) and $250 (~NPR30,200) for 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB respectively. Likewise, AliExpress, the official Xiaomi partner will be selling the phone worldwide with the price tag of $250 (~NPR 30,200) for a 4GB/64GB model and $280 (~NPR 33,900) for 6GB/128GB model from April 7.
However, the price will reduce to $200 (~NPR 24,200) and $240 (~NPR 29,000) on April 7 and 8 for a two-day flash sale of Mi Fan Festival. Also if you are lucky enough you can grab one of the 2020 units of MFF 2020 Limited Edition of the Redmi Note 9S having the MFF logo on its back.
