With this aim, Samsung has added a new device the Galaxy J2 Ace in Galaxy’s J series which is the smartphone series in the affordable segment.
Today (January 24, 2017) Samsung Nepal launched Galaxy J2 Ace as an entry-level budget smartphone. The Galaxy J2 Ace comes with a 5-inch touch screen display and is a 4G enabled phone, accounting for the existing 4G service in Nepal. The device also has features centered on Nepal like UDS, S-bike, TST, S Power planning, and S-Secure that makes J2 Ace a compelling offer in the Nepali market.

Inspired by this success, we are pleased to expand our portfolio with the addition of Galaxy J2 Ace prices at NPR 13,990. This model has been conceptualized and equipped with the front flash in a 5” screen phone to cater to the needs of both selfie takers and entertainment lovers.”
As mentioned Samsung has other features integrated to its device especially for Nepal. The Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode provides up to 50% of data savings with the help of data compressing. This unique feature saves mobile data and is very important for people who use limited data internet connection.
S bike mode is another feature for the consumers while riding a bike. This feature enables the user to ride tension free while encouraging disciplined responsible riding. S bike mode when activated informs the caller of the user riding through the Automated Answering Machine. Further, it provides information for caller to press 1 which allows the call to go through otherwise ending the call.
Turbo Speed Technology(TST) a revolutionary feature that increases the efficiency of RAM memory utilization with the help of software optimization. This enables the user to open apps 40% faster than other devices. With TST the device can perform faster than Samsung’s flagship S-series.
S Power Planning is another integrated feature that optimizes devices for better battery management enabling the users to stay connected for a longer time. S Secure ensures the safest browsing experience protecting the user from internet malware and also includes privacy features to keep the personal information protected.
Performance and Design
Galaxy J2 Ace is equipped to deliver great performance along with a stylish design. The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core processor and comes with 1.5 GB of RAM. The 5-inch display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution ensures great device experience. The device has an internal storage of8GB and can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card. It packs an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with Selfie Flash. The device runs on Android 6.0 and is powered by 2600mAh non-removable battery. The sensors include Proximity and Accelerometer only so the device cannot run the apps requiring Gyroscope including the use for VR experience.
Galaxy J2 Ace is available in gold, black, and silver and has a unique back panel that is anti-scratch and ergonomic. Also, the rugged texture of the back panel offers a solid grip that won’t let it slip easily.
