Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) spotted with 12MP Selfie Camera and Octa-core CPU
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will soon be announced next month. After the announcement, we will have enough idea about the device. Though Samsung is working on its next flagship device, the company seems confident in its budget lineup to surprise the customers as well. We are saying this because Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has recently been spotted in two different benchmarks. After spotting the device by Geekbench at first, GFXBench has also spotted the 2017 version of the Galaxy J5.
According to benchmark results, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will sport a 12MP front and rear camera. Looks like Samsung is trying to attract the customers who are seeking better selfie capturing phones. Other results from the benchmark reveal that Samsung J5 (2017) will run on Android Nougat 7.0 and 2GB of RAM powering the device. However, the results from GFXBench show a 1280×720p resolution 4.8-inch display which might not be true since the previous variant of the device came with a larger 5.2-inch display. We will have to wait for other leaks and news to confirm this claim.
In addition, both the Geekbench and GFXBench reveal an Octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz. Talking about the storage, the phone will pack a 16GB internal memory which will be expandable for sure. Other features from the benchmark reveal sensors such as accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor, and NFC. These specs along with a good selfie camera seem decent enough for average users.
We are yet to receive more official news from Samsung about the Galaxy (J5 2017). It is also unclear about the pricing and availability of the Galaxy J5 (2017) for the time being. However, be sure to check out Gadgets In Nepal for more updates about this article and other Tech news.
