Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt 32GB Variant Launched in Nepal
Samsung, the South-Korean Tech-Giant, has launched one of its budget offerings, the Galaxy J7 Nxt 32GB variant, here in Nepal. The smartphone was launched last year in other markets where it received a good response, so, Samsung seems to want to continue that momentum here in Nepal as well. The device priced at Rs. 21,990 will be competing with devices from other manufacturers in the budget segment.
On the front, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD(1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED screen. We can say that the Super AMOLED screen, which will make your content viewing experience vivid is welcome but the resolution is a let down at this price point where others are offering Full HD displays.
Under-the-hood the Galaxy J7 Nxt is powered by Exynos 7870 Octa chipset which features Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 based processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card. In our opinion, 3GB of RAM will be enough to provide a smooth experience for the user, which is a welcome change from Samsung which previously only provided 2GB of RAM in its budget offerings.
Speaking of the camera, the Galaxy J7 Nxt comes equipped with a 13 MP f/1.9 rear camera and a 5 MP f/2.2 camera on the front. Both the cameras, however, come equipped with an LED flash which is a welcome feature for those night shots. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat which is a let down for a 2018 offering from the tech-giant.
Powering the device is a 3000mAh battery, which the company claims is capable of providing up to 13 hours of internet usage time (wifi), up to 17 Hours of Video playback, up to 80 hours of audio playback and up to 21 hours of Talktime. On the connectivity front, the Galaxy J7 Nxt is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM, the smartphone supports usual features such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor, sadly no Gyroscope is present.
