Samsung Galaxy M Series A Response Toward Chinese Brands

Samsung has been falling behind just like Nokia did once. Gradually Chinese smartphone makers like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, and vivo are winning people’s hearts by giving one after another value for money devices. On the other hand, Samsung is just neglecting the competition and going its own way. But finally, Samsung is ready to bring change. Being a giant who once captured the market consumer Expectation are high with the New series. Samsung focusing on Millennials unveiled the M Series.

With their first-ever launch in India will it be able to compete with Chinese competitors? Well, that is still unknown but we will find it out soon, for now, let’s take a look at what these devices have to offer.

Samsung M20 Overview

Starting with Galaxy M20, this one is the whole package with a powerful processor, a great camera, and an outstanding battery. the device features an Exynos 7904 octa-core 14nm chipset with Mali-G71 GPU. The 6.3-inch FHD + display with Infinity V notch design on the front.

The notch house a Selfie camera which is of 8 MP. while on the back there exists a dual camera setup with 13MP F1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary ultra-wide lens that captures the 120-degree view. On the battery backup side, the device is fueled by a 5000mAh battery along with fast charging. The device comes in either 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded up to 512GB through MicroSD card.

In the context of UI Samsung introduced an all-new UI for its brand new series “Samsung Experience 9.5”. The device is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with assurances of the Android pie update. On security concern, the device has a fingerprint scanner on the back along with less secured face unlock support. Ports include Headphone Jack and USB type C.

Samsung M10 Overview

Now getting on to the Samsung M10, The device does have the same looks as of M20. But with a screen size of6.2-inch HD+ Infinity V notch Display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. The same processor that powered Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J7 2017/2016.

As far as the camera is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M10 comes with a dual-lens rear camera with a 13MP primary sensor along with a 5MP secondary sensor with a 120-degrees ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfies.

Regarding the variants, it has two. 2GB RAM and 16GB storage or 3GB RAM 32GB Storage which also comes with a MicroSD card support up to 512GB.The device possesses the same Samsung Experience UI 9.5. The device is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system but there will be an Android pie update soon.
The device doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner rather there is a Face Unlock feature. And all this powered by a 3,400mAh battery and comes with MicroUSB port for charging and a headphone jack.

For Samsung to see they go this aggressive is quite unusual but this is their move to compete with Chinese Brands.
