Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite vs OnePlus 7T

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite vs OnePlus 7T: Specs Comparison

Recently, Samsung Nepal introduced the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in the Nepalese market. This device is a hed-on competitor to the One Plus 7T which is currently dominating the premium smartphone market. Let’s see for ourselves, how do these devices compare to each other.

Design:

As both, the devices are in the premium segment of the market, they have a very premium look to them. The OnePlus 7T features the tried and tested dual-glass sandwich design. The curved edges on the back combined with the frosted look give the device a very premium looking design while being comfortable to hold at the same time. On the front is a bezel-less screen with a teardrop notch.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite, on the other hand, comes with a polycarbonate back which is great for durability but looses out on the premium feel of the device. However, with smooth edges around the back, the device is very comfortable while holding it. Upfront is the bezel-less hole-punch display giving the device a very premium look.

Display:

The devices feature amazing displays at this price segment and both the devices in comparison live up to the standards. The One Plus 7T features a Fluid AMOLED 6.55 inches, 1080 x 2400 pixels with a refresh rate of 90Hz which makes sure that you get eye-popping colors with butter-smooth animations at the same time. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite packs a Super AMOLED 6.7 inches, 1080 x 2400 pixels which has great color contrast and a slightly larger size. However, with a 90Hz refresh rate, the One Plus 7T Pro takes an edge here.

Camera:

Speaking of the cameras, the One Plus 7T Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup [48 MP, f/1.6, 26mm (wide) + 12 MP, f/2.2, 51mm (telephoto) + 16 MP, f/2.2, 17mm (ultrawide)] at the back at 16MP, f/2.0 sensor for selfies which makes sure you are covered up for every situation. In contrast, the Galaxy Note 10 also employs a triple camera setup [12 MP, f/1.7, 27mm (wide) + 12 MP, f/2.4, 52mm (telephoto) + 12 MP, f/2.2, 12mm (ultrawide)] and a single 32MP, f/2.2 sensor for selfies.

Despite having a lower resolution rear camera on Galaxy Note 10 lite, its main camera sensor has larger pixels compared to OnePlus 7T. Which means better photos in low light situations. Also, Samsung’s Image processing software produces more pleasing images compared to OnePlus.

Specs and Software:

Specification wise, the One Plus 7T packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, CPU: Octa-core (1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485) coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Powering the device is a Non-removable Li-Po 3800mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Note 10 Lite features Exynos 9810, CPU: Octa-core (4×2.7 GHz Mongoose M3 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. This device runs on a 4500 mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging.
