As last year Samsung organized a Blogger Meet event at their Head Office today. Blogger Meet is all about sharing thoughts between Samsung and Tech bloggers about new Samsung products. Samsung explained to us the new features of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with a nice presentation. Samsung also told us that Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge pre-order went very successful, even beyond their expectation.
I asked a few questions at the event like:
Ques: Why Exynos version of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge for Nepal?
Ans: Samsung is emphasizing their in-house chipset over Qualcomm that’s why.
Ques: When Samsung’s New J series smartphone will launch in Nepal?
Ans: Sorry, we are unable to tell you that at the moment.
Ques: Which version of SoC is found on newly launched Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 editions?
Ans: Exynos 7580 Octa-core 1.6GHz CPU with Mali-T720 GPU
Samsung also requested us to let our readers know two things about Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Although both come with an IP68 rating, they are not meant to be taken inside the swimming pool and take pictures. But it is okay if you use it in a rain or accidentally dropped your Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in the water.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge come with only 12MP rear camera which is 4MP less than last year Galaxy S6 and S6 edge but now they have larger pixel size and has larger aperture f1.7 which helps to take great images in low light conditions compared to last year Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Beside me(Gadgets In Nepal), Tech bloggers from Delta Digit, GadgetByte Nepal, Mobiles Khabar and One Tech Minute were present at the event. I want to thank Samsung for organizing this kind of event where we can learn more new things about Samsung products. And here is the best part: Samsung for the very first time in the History of Nepali Tech gave a review unit of Samsung Galaxy S7 to all tech bloggers who attended today’s event. So expect some videos about Samsung Galaxy S7 on my YouTube channel very soon.
