Samsung India on Tuesday announced the launch of Samsung Galaxy C9 pro at INR 36,900 (NPR 59040), a mid-range device with 6GB of RAM. Galaxy C9 Pro will be available throughout India from January 27. And we have news that it is soon going to launch in Nepal as well. According to Samsung Nepal, “In Nepal, Galaxy C9 Pro will be launched at the end of February. The pre-booking for the same will start in the mid of February. C9 Pro in Nepal will be priced under NPR 60,000.”

The Galaxy C9 Pro was launched back in November in China with a price tag of CNY 3199 (~NPR 50950). However, it was unclear if Samsung would release this device outside China. But now we have official confirmation that it will be released in many countries including Nepal. The Galaxy C9 Pro has some great specs including a 16MP front camera and a huge 6GB of RAM, which is a first for Samsung.
It sports a 6 inch Super AMOLED Display for excellent color reproduction. The screen resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels (~367 PPI pixel density). It features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The chipset includes an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 510 GPU.
The storage is expandable to 256 GB via a microSD card. The primary camera is 16 MP Phase Detection Autofocus(PDAF) with f/1.9 aperture and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The front shooter is also 16MP for selfies and recording at 1080p at 30fps. It has full NFC support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v4.2 and pack a non-removable 4000mAh battery. It has front-mounted fingerprint sensors and other sensors like proximity sensors, compass, accelerometer, etc.

The Galaxy C9 Pro has two color variants: Gold and Rose Gold. It will only be available after its official launch at the end of February. We’ll have to wait to know the exact pricing of the device until then.
