Samsung has recently launched J6 2018 in India. Samsung’s J-series was the most successful midrange series in India but with Xiaomi‘s recent market capture it’s been tough for Samsung. Now with J6 2018 infinity display edition Samsung is somewhat planning to reclaim the position in the market, but that is something future will tell for now let’s learn what the device has to offer.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 mobile features a 5.6″ (14.22 cm) Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ (720×1480) resolution. The device is powered by Octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset with a Mali-T830 MP1 GPU, 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 32GB/64GB of storage and the option to expand the memory Up to 256 GB with a dedicated SD card slot.
On the software part, the device will run on Android Oreo 8.0. As far as the battery is concerned it has 3300 mAh. On the camera department, it features a single 13MP F/1.9 camera alongside an LED flash. The front-facing snapper has an 8MP sensor and a fixed-focus F/1.9 lens. Interestingly, an LED flash with different intensity levels can be found on the front as well for low-light selfies. Other sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope along with a fingerprint sensor. It offers face unlock feature as well.
With the highlight on the Infinity Display, the device is priced at INR 13,990(~NPR 22,384) for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and INR 16,490 (~NPR 26,384) for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Available in both the online and offline markets.
