Samsung Unveiled J7 Pro And J7 Max In India

Samsung has recently launched Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max in India. Till now Samsung’s J-series has been the most successful for them in India. Both J7 Pro and J7 Max are mid-range devices that focus more on social media and shopping terms.

When the focus is on social media then how a smartphone couldn’t be better considering cameras. Samsung has equipped a 13MP camera in both smartphones rear and front, where the rear camera has an aperture of f/1.7 and the front camera has a slightly larger aperture of f/1.9. What makes this device more socialistic is it’s a social camera which has a bunch of feature i.e editing, color effects, traditional stickers, and direct upload to social media accounts all in the same one app.

Samsung J7 Pro

Samsung J7 Pro sports a 5.5-inch super AMOLED display with the resolution of (1080 x 1920) pixels. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 Octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz and comes with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. Considering memory it has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the front and the device is backed by a 3600mAh battery.

Samsung J7 Max

Samsung J7 Max has a slightly larger display of 5.7 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of (1080 x 1920) pixels. The device is powered by Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 octa-core processor which is also clocked at 1.6GHz. J7 Max has 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is mounted at the front same as J7 Pro and the device is backed by a 3300mAh battery.

To make shopping easier Samsung has included Samsung pay in J7 Pro and Pay Mini in J7 Max. The J7 Pro and J7 Max both run on Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. Regarding price, the J7 Pro costs INR 20900 (US$ 320) and J7 Max costs just INR 17900 (US$ 275).
