This new Sony Xperia L1 comes with a 5.5 inch IPS HD display and is as thin as 8.7 mm. It has a loop surface design with narrow borders and rounded frame which makes Sony Xperia L1 comfortable to hold. The overall dimension is 151 x 74 x 8.7 mm and it weighs 180 gram.
The color options that are available are Black, White and Pink.
Sony Xperia L1 sports 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage and can support upto 256 GB of external memory. Sony gives this phone a MediaTek MT6737T Quad-Core 64bit CPU, clocked at 1.45GHz. Xperia L1 supports dual sim (nano) and has 2620 mAh of battery with Qnovo adaptive charging and Sony’s Stamina mode.
The main camera of this phone is of 13 Megapixels with F2.2 lens and 3x Clear Image Zoom. The front has a 5MP camera with 24mm wide-angle and f/2.2 aperture.
Talking about the connectivity option, it comes with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type-C port.
Sony is always ahead when it comes to sound , this phone incorporates xLOUD Clearaudio+ and stereo recording along with Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology.
We wise, Sony had gone with Qualcomm entry level chipset instead of MediaTek. But overall this seems to be a good budget range smartphone going with the brand. The exact price is yet to be announced after the phone is launched in the market in April. We hope Sony will launch this device in Nepal as well at a reasonable price tag.
