Vivo X9 and X9 Plus Unveiled With A Dual Front Facing Camera
After the recently announced Vivo V5 in India, Vivo decided to launch their X series smartphones in China. Now dual front facing camera on a smartphone in not a new thing. Lenovo has already done it years ago on Lenovo Vibe S1. But what makes Vivo X9 and X9 Plus interesting is its hardware specs. Both devices come with Dual front facing camera for taking selfies. And on paper, the dual front camera looks promising as one comes with 20MP Sony IMX376 image sensor and f2. 0 aperture. While the other one comes with an 8MP sensor to gather the depth of field information. So the combination of both cameras will enable bokeh effects while taking selfies.
Vivo X9 comes with 5.5inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution. Processing power is handled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, built on 14nm architecture. So expect some good battery life out of 3050mAh battery found on Vivo X9.
Other specs include 16MP rear camera, 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB ROM, 4G Dual-SIM support, fingerprint sensor and AKM4376 DAC for high quality music output.
Now talking about Vivo X9 Plus, it comes with 5.88 inches Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 CPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and big 4000mAh battery. Other specs remain same as found in Vivo X9.
Both devices will be available in two color options: Gold & Rose Gold. Viv0 X9 with 64GB ROM variant is priced at CNY 2798 (about NPR Rs.44, 500) and CNY 2998 (about NPR Rs.47, 700) for 128GB ROM variant. Pricing for Vivo X9 Plus was not announced at the event.
Talking about the availability of these two smartphones in China, Vivo X9 will be available at retail stores from November 24 whereas Vivo X9 Plus will be available from December 26.
