The highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series’ battery sizes and charging capabilities have been revealed in the latest leak by Digital Chat Station. According to the leaks, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be available in China in November.
What can users expect out of Xiaomi 14 series?
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 14 smartphone will likely have a battery capacity of 4,860mAh. Similarly, Xiaomi 14 series will support fast charging at 90W. Likewise, the Pro variant will have a slightly larger battery with a 5,000mAh capacity and faster charging using a 120W fast charger. Talking about storage, this generation is likely to have up to 1TB of storage.
The big news is that both phones will also be capable of 50W wireless charging. According to the leaked information, the battery and charging performance would be significantly improved over prior generations.
When compared to the older Xiaomi 13 which had a lower 4,500mAh battery and 67W rapid charging, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will have significant improvements. It is also rumored that both phones are likely to have a USB-C interface that supports the USB 3.2 standard.
The highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series is set to deliver impressive performance with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The chip company Qualcomm is set to launch this new chip in October of this year. Following the launch of the new chip, this device might hit the Chinese market as early as November. This new chipset promises significant advancements in processing power and efficiency, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Furthermore, recent leaks from DCS A 50MP 1/1.28″ sensor will replace the current 50MP 1/1.49 sensor in the main camera, according to DCS. It will be joined by a “medium-telephoto” camera, most likely with a standard lens like its predecessor. No indication is given as to what the fourth sensor might be (the third sensor is obviously the ultra-wide camera).
It appears that the Xiaomi 14 series will also contain the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in addition to the eagerly anticipated Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is likely to be unveiled exclusively for the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2024.
