Xiaomi is all set to launch a new phone in their Redmi series lineup – Xiaomi Redmi 4. Successor to the very popular Redmi 3, the Redmi 4 will be launched tomorrow at 19:00 (GMT+8) live from Beijing on Mi Live. The same day we will also see the flash sale of the highly anticipated, Mi MIX.
Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the phone’s specifications. But from the rumors and leaks, The phone will reportedly have a 5’’ IPS display with Full HD resolution. From the teaser image released by the company, it shows the phone with 2.5D glass and metal body design which looks very similar to Redmi Note 4. Redmi 4 is also supposed to come with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM (expandable), Snapdragon 625 CPU, 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera. A 4000mAh battery (possibly with Quick Charge) and android v6.0 marshmallow is what we are supposed to get in Redmi 4.
Redmi 4 will be available in 4 different colors like Gold, Dark Gray, Silver and Classic Gold andreportedly with a price starting from $103 in its home market.
Xiaomi might also announce other variants of this phone like Redmi 4 pro and Redmi 4S. Redmi 4A, a lower end variant of Redmi 4 lineup is also rumored to get announced at the event tomorrow.
As far as the availability of Redmi 4 for Nepal, we don’t have any news to share with you at the moment. But Mi Nepal might launch Redmi 4 in the near future.
