Yes, the wait for Redmi 4A is finally over for Mi fans in India, as Xiaomi has just launched the youngest member of Xiaomi family in India. Redmi 4A is priced at INR 5999 (~NRP 9600) for 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM variant in India.
Redmi 4A comes with polycarbonate body which does not feel cheap at all. Talking about the display it has 5” IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by Android 6.0 OS and the processor here is Snapdragon 425 quad-core from Qualcomm operating in clock speed of 1.4GHz backed up with Adreno 308 GPU. Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 is one of the best processor you can find in this price range.
Likewise, the device is powered with 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. But if you want to use two SIM card then you are out of luck for expanding storage. Because Redmi 4A comes with a Hybrid SIM card slot just like on other Xiaomi smartphones.
Redmi 4A comes with 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus features. Whereas selfie is handled by 5MP front camera.
One of the most important aspect for a smartphone is its battery, and Redmi 4A comes with 3120mAh non-removable battery which according to the company will last for 7 day on stand-by. Connectivity option includes 4G LTE, IR blaster, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Mi India also announced Second manufacturing plant in Sri City and shared 95% of Xiaomi smartphones available in India are now manufactured in India. Likewise Redmi 4A will also be a part of “Make In India” and will be manufactured in India.
Redmi 4A will be available in Dark Grey, Gold and Rose Gold color options and will go on sales in Mi India and Amazon India website from 23rd March, 2017.
Redmi 4A is already available in Nepal and is available in two variants, (2GB RAM + 16GB ROM) @ Rs.14999 and (2GB RAM + 32GB ROM) @ Rs.17499.
