Mi 10 was previously planned to launch in India on March 31. But, as the Coronavirus outbreak was getting worst there was a pause in the launch date. Now, as things have started getting better the company has once again started teasing on the arrival of the Mi 10. And, according to the officials, Xiaomi Mi 10 will go official in India on May 8th.
Xiaomi India’s Managing Director “Manu Kumar Jain” recently released a new teaser on Twitter that highlights a 108-megapixel camera of the Xiaomi Mi 10. His previous tweets had also stated the company intends to launch the Mi 10 once the lockdown is over. Moreover, he also affirmed through the other tweet that the company will adopt a different pricing model for the Mi 10. This is due to factors like direct import, higher GST, and depreciating Rupee value.

So, let’s have a quick insight on the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone, shall we? It was launched in China in February, along with the more advanced Mi 10 Pro. It rocks a slick 6.67-inch S-AMOLED punch-hole display that supports full HD+ resolution. Along with that, the screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the inside, it compromises of Snapdragon 865. The mobile platform powers the device with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage of up to 512 GB.
Moreover, the MIUI 11 based Android 10 OS comes preloaded on the MI 10. This is super cool and we are all excited to see how that complements the device.
In terms of snapper, it consists of a quad-camera setup with a 108-megapixel main shooter, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth assist sensor. So, it is completely safe to say that the camera will be the core selling point.
Also, in terms of front snapper, the Mi 10 comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, in terms of durability, it will come with a 4,780mAh battery inside of the box. Along with that the amazing Mi 10 will support 30W fast charging, 30W fast wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging as well.
Price and Availability:
As we know there will be a hike in the price due to the current global situation. Also from our last post, you know that Xiaomi Nepal has also revised a hike in the Xiaomi smartphone. So, the price will be the big reveal for this smartphone. More to that, since the launch in India is nearing there is a high chance it will be available in the Nepali market too.
