Design, build quality and display on both devices are equally good. Real differences you will find on both devices are in performance, Camera and battery life. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 which is the latest and powerful midrange CPU and GPU from Qualcomm where as Huawei GR5 comes Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 which is low midrange CPU and GPU from Qualcomm. So if you are a heavy mobile gamer then you will love Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Here are some benchmark results of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Huawei GR5, which will give you an idea how powerful, is Qualcomm Snapdragon 650

Both cameras are capable enough to take some great images on daylight conditions. But since Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with the 16MP rear camera compared to 13MP rear camera on Huawei GR5, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will product little more detail images than Huawei GR5.

Now when it comes to battery life, Hands-down to Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi really deserve a huge round of applause for being able to put a big 4050mAh battery on just 8.7mm thick body. On the other hand Huawei GR5 comes with a 3000mAh battery which is still great, but simply cannot beat Redmi Note 3. Also Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with quick charging technology to allow you to charge 0-100% in just 2hrs 30mins with a quick charger. Whereas on Huawei GR5, quick charging technology is missing.

The only drawback I found on Redmi Note 3 is it comes with a hybrid SIM card slot. Which means you cannot use Both SIM at the same time if you want to use MicroSD cards to expand your storage. Either you can use 2 SIM at the same time or 1 SIM and MicroSD card together.

Redmi Note 3 and Huawei GR5 comes with fingerprint sensor on the back of the device which are pretty fast and accurate. But what I like about Huawei GR5 fingerprint sensor is you can use Fingerprint sensor as a touch pad to navigate on the screen or pull down notifications.

So should I still have to tell you which one is best? I guess not. Now under 25k you are getting one of the most powerful CPU and GPU in the price range, good camera, Excellent build quality and long lasting battery. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is the best smartphone, you can buy right now under Rs.25000 in Nepal.
