ZTE’s Nubia Z17 comes with 8GB RAM and Quick Charge 4+
Qualcomm has recently announced Quick charge 4+ which is an upgrade to the previously launched Quick charge 4.0. As in Qualcomm’s word Quick Charge 4+ is now “more powerful” with upgrades on temperature balance, efficiency and faster charging. While this news is astonishing already to the ears, ZTE puts forward even more exciting news to the tech world. Moments after Qualcomm announced the Quick Charge 4+, the first smartphone to have this feature is out already. Nubia Z17 is the first phone to feature the latest Quick Charge 4+.
Nubia Z17 is a flagship phone from ZTE which has been recently announced in Beijing, China. The Nubia Z17 is “only the second phone” in the world to pack a beasty 8GB of RAM. Not just the 8GB RAM on this phone is great but all other specs as well. The phone is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor which is pretty insane. It also has Adreno 540 GPU. Talking about the storage, the phone comes with a 128GB internal storage which is again, to put into words, “beasty”.
The 5.5 inch ZTE Nubia Z17 has a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The camera on this phone is another worth praising feature. ZTE Nubia Z17 sports a 23MP +12MPdual camera setup on the back. On the front, the phone packs a 16MP selfie shooter. The rear camera supports 2x Optical zoom and up to 10x Dynamic zoom. In addition, the phone packs a 3,200mAh battery which is decent. Thanks to the Quick Charge 4+, you can get this phone from 0 to 50% in less than 25 minutes.
Additionally, the phone features other flagship specs like Dolby Atmos speakers, IR blaster and comes with IP67 rating. Now, you might be wondering that a phone with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 SoC, 128GB storage and what not might cost over $1000 or so. But, the price of Nubia Z17 is eye catching as well. The phone costs CNY 3,999 (≈ $588) for 8GB+128GB variant and CNY 2,799 (≈ $411) for 6GB+64GB variant.
However, the phone is available only in China as for now. This is still a great news for tech enthusiasts. The specs seems pretty amazing and the pricing is also reasonable. However, we also need to know the verdict of our viewers. So, tell us what you think about the ZTE Nubia Z17. Wouldn’t it be great if it was available outside China and hopefully in Nepal too?
