Samsung has started rolling out an August 2022 security update for Galaxy S22


Great news for Samsung lovers, Samsung has once again delighted its customer by being the first brand to release a new security update. Samsung will be rolling out an August 2022 security update, starting with its Galaxy S22.

As per the details from SamMobile, Samsung’s new latest high-end phones such as Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra—have already started getting the August 2022 security patch. Firstly, the update has got released in Europe, and concurrently we hope that other regions might soon get access to the update within the next few days.

The newest software update for the Galaxy S22 series arrives with a firmware version  S90xBXXU2AVG6, which brings out the August 2022 security patch, it could fix the dozens of known privacy and security vulnerabilities. Furthermore, it would also bring general bug fixes improvements with stability improvement.

Well, the important thing, if you are the user of a Galaxy S22 series smartphone in Europe, you can easily download and install the new security update on your smartphone by going to settings; Software update, and tap on Download and install.

You can also download the latest firmware file from the Samsung database and flash it manually. Samsung launched its Galaxy S22 series earlier this year with Android 12-based One UI 4.1.

Furthermore, Samsung has promised to release its four major Andriod OS updates to their new upcoming flagships, which means they will get updated to Andriod 16. Sounds great, right?

So, people residing in Nepal might need to wait for more for the new security update for Galaxy S22 as it has just been revealed that it is available right now in Europe, let’s hope for the best it will arrive soon in Nepal too.!
